Chinese Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Applications from Chinese undergraduate and graduate students are welcome at any time. Undergraduate students can apply for one of the FDUROP projects.

Non-Chinese Graduate Students

Non-Chinese students can apply for the Master Program or the PhD Program. Applications are accepted in October and November for positions starting in September of the year after. The last advertisement is here.

The Master Program is 3 years and the student must already have a Bachelor Degree when the position starts. The PhD Program is 3 years and the student must already have a Master Degree when the position starts. 

Students can get either a Chinese Government Scholarship or a Shanghai Government Scholarship. Every scholarship covers: tuition fee, accommodation inside the campus, salary (3000 CNY/month for Master students and 3500 CNY/month for PhD students), and medical insurance.
